a poem message to all educators!!!
this was a poem i wrote on my poetry blog and book here…
i share with any educator, school leader or district leader to always remember that while accountability is important…
you are way more than your data
you are way more than a letter grade
you are way more than your role
you are way more than your school
you are simply
a gift
please don’t ever forget that fire and spark
on why you got into education
most importantly, thanks for being a gift to me
and to all our children and families!

when you fully see
the gift that you are
you inspire me
to fully see me
without the need to have, do, or aspire to be
so thanks for being a gift
and reminding me
